Teachers, We Appreciate You!

The end of the school year is drawing near. Only 11 more days... Every year around this time I try to think of something creative and original to give to the wonderful teachers who have given to my child all year long!

Here's what I have come up with this year...

Chicken wire apple baskets filled with saltwater taffy and a personal card from my child that reads: "Thank you Ms. Rayburn for being so sweet!"

Up for auction on ebay, I have listed another unique Teacher's gift and will be adding a few more this week.

Spring Time = Busy Time!

It's been WAY too long since I've posted! Spring time has wisked me away with baseball season, pretty walks with the baby, house buying plans and paperwork and scrapbooking whenever it's not pretty outside.

Since I posted last, I was asked to become a member of a wonderful group of ladies on  ebay called The Working Artist Group! I excitedly accept the invite and am loving being a part of this amazing group of girls! It's even more fun than I imagined it would be!

What to put those candies in...

Happy Tuesday! :)
So I found these cute containers at the Dollar Tree... and this is what I made of it to give as a gift for a special family in Alabama. {which must remain secret until delivered} :)

Can't wait to get this wrapped up and shipped off! :)

Also, today the auction ends on my 12 Month Paper Bag Album and as always, I will be listing my newest album this evening. I can't wait to share it with you!!!! The album I have been working on all week is NOT a paper bag album... it's chipboard. A change for me... but it turned out super cute!

2 kinds of treats :)

Treat #1:

Yesterday I got my package I have been waiting for! Hooray! Here is a picture of my wonderful new goodies! Already got some time last night to start my new album! Can't wait to work on it some more today! :)

Treat #2:

I had some time last night to work on our Valentine Treats for friends and teachers. They turned out so cute and yummy! Now to get to making the containers they will be presented in...

These little sweeties are so easy to make!!!

Block of Almond Bark

Bag of Pretzels

Favorite M&Ms

• Place unbroken pretzels in rows on wax paper.
• Heat 1/2 a block of Almond Bark in a microwave safe bowl for 1 1/2 mins on high in the microwave.
• Stir and drop small amounts on approx. 10 pretzel centers.
• Place an M&M on each center pressing down slightly. {make sure the "m" is face up}
• Let cool and eat! :)

They are getting out of school early today due to snow possibly coming to Houston!
